In 1989, our father left Trinidad & Tobago and made his way to Canada. Once settled in Toronto, the rest of the family soon followed. Our surroundings changed, but the flavours and traditions of home came with us.

Before Canada, Dad’s journey took him across Trinidad—from Forest Reserve to Mon Repos, Siparia, El Socorro, and Morvant. Each community became part of his story and helped shape his connection to Trinidadian food and culture.

Dad had been the family cook since childhood. Food wasn’t just something he made—it was how he brought people together. And his peppa sauce was always part of it.

Over the years, that sauce became a staple at family gatherings and BBQs. Friends and family would taste it and inevitably ask, “Can I take some home?”

What started as Dad’s peppa sauce became something we knew was worth sharing.

Today, F’N Hot Sauce carries that tradition forward—a Trinidadian family recipe, made in Canada and bottled for anyone who believes a little peppa makes everything better.
